NGHIÊN CỨU ĐẶC ĐIỂM HÌNH THÁI VÀ VI PHẪU THỰC VẬT CỦA LOÀI RIỀNG DÀI LÔNG MÉP (ALPINIA BLEPHAROCALYX K. SCHUM. VAR. BLEPHAROCALYX), HỌ GỪNG (ZINGIBERACEAE) 

Summary

Alpinia blepharocalyx K. Schum. var. blepharocalyx (Zingiberaceae), local name Rieng dai long mep, were discovered and collected in our field trip in Tam Dao town, Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province. Its morphological (the whole tree) and microscopic characteristics (leaves, rhizomes, leaf powder, rhizome powder) were studied in detail. The results showed that, the morphological features of Alpinia blepharocalyx K. Schum. var. blepharocalyx were different from those of the previously published Alpinia blepharocalyx species. These scientific evidences are valuable data for standardization of Vietnamese medicinal herbs and contribution to the preservation and sustainable development of traditional medicinal resources in Vietnam.
