Nghiên cứu thành phần hóa học của thân cây bìm bịp (Clinacanthus nutans (Burm. f.) Lindau, Acanthaceae)

The ethanol extracts obtained by percolation from the dried, powdered stems of Clinacanthus nutans (Burm.f.) Lindau with ethanol 96% were partitioned with dichloromethane and ethyl acetate to get the respective extracts. Further, the obtained dichloromethane extracts were separated by vacuum liquid chromatography to yield 27 fractions (BB1- BB27). From fraction BB-3, three compounds (BB3-4, BB3-7 and BB3-8) were isolated by column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated by MS, MNR in reference to literature and identified as acid tetracosanoic (BB3-4), hexacosyl sinapate (BB3-7) and ursolic acid acetate (BB3-8). This is first report on isolation of these compounds from the stems of Clinacanthus nutans in Vietnam.
