Summary

Panax vietnamensis Ha et Grushv. as endemic plant in Vietnam and known as a valuable medicinal herb, rhizomes and radix have many uses: anti-stress, anti-depressant, antioxidant, cancer prevention, cell protection. This topic has surveyed and studied the botanical characteristics of Panax vietnamensis plants to contribute to improving the testing and quality of medicinal herbs, contributing to ensuring the safety of the people’s health. The thesis used morphological method and double staining method to describe morphology and anatomical structure of 6-year-old tuberous radix of Panax vietnamensis species. The results showed that Panax vietnamensis radix has a secondary structure with abnormally strong activity of the biogenous species; The very active secondary xylem occupies nearly a quarter of the entire microsurgical area. The root bundle system of Panax vietnamensis radix consists of clubbed conductors whose abnormal secondary structure activity is clearly observed.
