The progress of malnutrition reduction and the WAZ, HAZ and WHZ were examined through national nutrition surveillance data which is conducted by National Institute of Nutrition from 2011 to 2015. It is shown that the prevalence of child malnutrition has been reduced: underweight from 16.8% in 2011 to 14.1% in 2015 with the rate of reduction is 0.5 percentage point per year; Stunting was 27.5% in 2011 to 24.6% in 2015 with the rate of reduction is 0.6 percentage point per year. The reduction of malnutrition was different among ecological regions and between urban and rural area. The prevalence of malnutrition was still high in mountainous area.
